Assemblywoman Jane Corwin met with members of the Middleport Community Input Group on Friday, August 6, 2010, to discuss their concerns with the arsenic cleanup project in the village and surrounding areas and the Corrective Measures Study report submitted to the Government Agencies by FMC for review and comment. In the photo at right is Bill Arnold, MCIG Chairman; Julie Maedl, Village Mayor and Assemblywoman Corwin.

Some of the topics discussed were the slow progress and length of time the project has been going on, the belief the Agencies will not look at the Corrective Measures Study objectively, the proposed CAMU and the lack of communications between the Agencies and residents along with the lack of resident involvement in negotiations.
